Rachel Carson BSc(Hons)
Optometrist Rachel graduated from the University of Ulster in 2008. She has gained experience in various areas of optometry including diabetic screening and has a keen interest in myopia control. She served as a trustee for an eye charity called Eyes For East Africa for over 10 years, and has visited Ethiopia and Kenya numerous times to train optometrists and other health care professionals. |
Fionnuala McAvinchey BSc(Hons)
Optometrist Fionnuala graduated from the University of Ulster in 2008. She has gained years of experience across England and Northern Ireland in independent and larger chain opticians. Most recently working for a company specialising in laser eye surgery and cataract surgery. |

Receptionist and Optical Assistant Martina has been a valued member of the R&F Opticians team for 13 years. She is one of the friendly faces our customers know and love. She has a real talent for helping people choose glasses that not only fit well but look fantastic too! |
Kellyann Ganley
Receptionist and Optical Assistant Kellyann has been a vital part of our team for 23 years. A dab hand at admin, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and brings her artistic flair to our beautiful window displays. Kellyann also helps select our fashionable eyewear collections, ensuring our patients always look and feel their best. |
