How we get the personal information and why we have it Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons: - To book eye appointments. - To confirm your appointment and send you reminders when you are due appointments. - To perform eye health checks and provide you with the best possible care. - To determine your prescription for spectacles and contact lenses. - To understand your lifestyle requirements and recommend the best optical appliance for you. - To send you communication regarding changes to our services. - To send you marketing communications – you can opt out of this at any time. - To ask you for feedback on your experience with us.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios: - From other optometrists if you have had appointments with them in the past, we will ask your permission before requesting this. - From your GP, ophthalmologist, or other health care provider if the information is relevant to your eye health.
We may share information with other optometrists, your GP, your ophthalmologist, and other health care providers.
